Long Hunter State Park is attached to the lake has hiking and biking.
Catch a large mouth bass, small mouth bass, Cherokee bass, catfish, and trout.
With a long recreation season, visitors have numerous activities to choose from.
Fishing, hunting, camping, picnicking, boating, canoeing, hiking & horseback riding.
The lake is connected to Long Hunter State Park & only 6 miles from Rockhaven Cabins.

Long Hunter State Park is situated along the shore of J. Percy Priest Lake.
There are 4 areas: Couchville, Baker’s Grove, Bryant Grove and Sellar’s Farm.
Picnic, swim, hike, backpack, go boating, fish, and observe wildlife
There are several great walking trails in the park.
Sella’s Farm State Archaeological Area is an attraction for history enthusiasts
Sellars Farm is one of the few Native American mounds in Tennessee.
The Sellars Farm community was occupied in the period around 900 AD until about 1500 AD.
There’s a short loop trail is a good hike and offers a unique learning experience.
Pets are not permitted on the trails

Providence MarketPlace is a 103-acre retail gateway to the Providence area.
Located only 4 1/2 miles north of Rockhaven Cabins.
Designed as a regional “omnicenter” with approximately 830,000 square feet of retail space.
Providence MarketPlace is the largest open-air center in Middle Tennessee.
The largest shopping center between Nashville and Knoxville.
Providence MarketPlace offers a diverse mix of stores.
Department stores, specialized retailers, specialty shops, restaurants and a movie theater.
Kroger & Publix Grocery stores are in the Providence area.

The Grand Ole Opry, a radio broadcast in 1925, is a live-entertainment phenomenon today.
Dedicated to honoring country music’s rich history and dynamic present.
The Opry showcases a mix of country legends and contemporary chart-toppers.
It’s called the “home of American music” and “country’s most famous stage.”
Every year, thousands of people come from around the world to the Opry Complex.
The Grand Ole Opry is only 15 miles from Rockhaven Cabins.

Cedars of Lebanon State Park, named for the cedar forest in the Biblical lands of Lebanon.
The park contains 900 acres which are used for intensive recreation.
Eight miles of hiking trails meander through the “cedar” forests and glades.
Hiking trails are open all year to enjoy glimpses of fox, deer, squirrel, rabbits, and turkey.
The park has picnic tables with grills and eleven picnic shelters.
The park also features an olympic-plus-sized swimming pool and ample space for sunbathing.
Lifeguards are on duty throughout the summer months.
The pool opens Memorial Day week-end. There are two diving boards.

Music Row is an area just to the southwest of Downtown Nashville, TN

Centered around 16th and 17th Avenues South (called the Music Row area)
Music Row is widely considered the heart of Nashville’s entertainment industry.

The Museum opened in a $37 million landmark, new building in May 2001.

The service uses the existing track of the Nashville and Eastern Railroad.

The Ryman Auditorium is a 2,362-seat live performance venue.
Located at 116 Fifth Avenue North in Nashville, Tennessee.
It is best-known as the one-time home of the Grand Ole Opry.
Many of the greats of country music have performed at the Ryman over the years.
The venue features bluegrass, gospel, folk, and rock, as well as stand-up comedy shows.

Riverfront park bridges the gap between Cumberland River and downtown Nashville
